VINTAGE PANA
A 50TH Anniversary celebration

In 1956, Robert Hinchman, Jr. and Anacleto del Rosario took an active interest in getting advertising practitioners to form an organization. Their efforts resulted in an organizational meeting which established the urgency of organizing PANA. On January 30, 1958, the Philippine Association of National Advertisers (PANA) was born in a general meeting of representatives from 42 companies which elected the association's 11-member Board of Directors.

Formed by advertisers for advertisers, PANA is the only organization in the country that unites the users of advertising. Its member companies comprise every major industry in the country. Through the years, PANA only grew better and stronger. It has grown deeper in its commitment to truth in advertising and richer in its vision of self-regulation.

This year, PANA will celebrate its golden anniversary. To commemorate this momentous occasion, PANA will be hosting a wine and cheese party for its members and guests.

Vintage PANA, the launching of PANA’s 50th anniversary celebration, will happen on April 25, 2008 at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel. The PANA members and special guests will get to taste a delectable selection of 50 brands of wine, symbolic of the organization’s 50 golden years. The event promises to be a night filled with good food, entertainment and a lot of attractive raffle prizes to be won.
